Gladiator Games – Week 8 Recap (Z is OK!)

After the Red Team’s amazing entrance from their “tour bus” it looked like week 8 was gonna be all Red. But the Blue Team was able to hold them off while we played Balloon Soccer & Ping Pong Soccer.
 Check out some photos here!
Ziad went down with our first injury of the season. He’s doing well though. His ankle isn’t broken; it is sprained pretty bad though. He’s on crutches and should be in Connect on Sunday! Keep ZZ in your prayers!
Connect T-Shirts are in!
Â
The shirts are finally in! If you signed up for a shirt, bring in your money to pick it up!
We will be placing another order soon, so don’t get left out!

Pray for Hannah
UPDATE 2:
Hannah came home yesterday! Praise God! Please continue to pray for her though.

UPDATE:
The doctors are pretty sure she had a hemiplegic migraine, which is better news. They are keeping her again tonight and she is going to have an MRI in the morning.Â

Hannah Smith (Blue Team Leader) was taken to the hospital last night after Gladiator Games. The right side of her face and her right arm went numb. It seemed like she was having a stroke. She was admitted and they are doing some tests to figure out what is going on. The CAT scan and blood work came back good. She is doing well right now though. We went up to visit her this morning and we had a normal conversation…well as normal as we could!
Please lift her up in prayer. I’ll post updates as I find out more.
Gladiator Games – Week 6 Recap
The Red Team made up some ground this week! We played a new game called The Gauntlet and finished up with a “fair” re-match of The Frozen T-Shirt. We had a blast! If you haven’t been able to make it for Gladiator Games on a Wednesday night, what are you waiting for?! We’ve only got 4 weeks left!
Sell Entertainment Books for the Missions Trip
If you are planning on going on the Mission Akron trip next year, then here is an opportunity to start raising money. We will be selling Entertainment Books! Here’s how it works:
• The books cost $30 a piece. You get $6 for every book sold towards your trip
• Once we sell 50 books as a group, you will get $15 per book towards your tripÂ
• The books are in, so collect the money then deliver the booksÂ
So pick up an order sheet in Connect and start taking orders!
